Please, someone help me with this decision. I can't make it on my own.
Thanks to Pandora I get exposed to bands or songs I'm not familiar with from time to time. Sometimes they rule and sometimes they suck.
But I can't decide on one band. Interpol, do they blow are they actually secretly talented? My opinion varies wildly from song to song. Somebody help a brother out here.

I call Interpol pop music and justify liking them because it is the best of the pop music out there. And then I remember how much I used to like Sisters of Mercy. So I understand your confusion about Interpol...
I am also a fan of interpol. no, they are not in my top 10 favs but they are solid pop euro trash and I don't feel let down listening to them - yet.
Some of their songs just don't do it for me but I won't block them from my Pandora.
I don't like them, but I'm a crusty old snob who can source where they cribbed every note from.
Tangential: According to Pandora, Jouney and REO Speedwagon are "oldies" bands.
Yeah, I get that too Andrew. They do wear their influences on their sleeves.
By the way I just now realized you shared your name with Ween's bassist. Though I imagine you've had that pointed out to you many times already.
